15/04/2012

João Quintela Cavaleiro and Pedro Seixas Silva were present at the 7th General Assembly of the Chambre de Commerce et industrie Franco-Portugaise, chaired by Dr. Carlos Vinhas, which took place in the main hall of the Portuguese Embassy in Paris, and which was attended by the Director General from the Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade of Portugal (AICEP) in Paris, Dr. António Silva.

The CCIFP aims to promote business action between Portugal and France, supporting companies interested in bilateral trade to access practices, advice and contacts tailored to their needs.

The presence of these lawyers reinforces the importance of Business Law as a possible answer to the needs of clients looking for new markets.

“Securely accompanying Portuguese companies and investors in the internationalization process” is, in the words of João Quintela Cavaleiro, one of the activities that the Society has developed in the past and which has seen an increase in demand in recent months.

It is also important, according to the opinion of Pedro Seixas Silva, “to respond to the immense requests of Portuguese people living in France and who, at this particular moment, show an interest in investing in Portugal.”

The message of the participants in the opening session had, in common, a reference to the environment of trust that is experienced in trade between these two countries.
