João Cavaleiro participated in the first IT4 Legal conference in Porto, which took place at Casa da Música, on the subordinate panel: Impact of IT on law firms.

The panel of speakers included the moderator David Coelho and the participation of Miguel Miranda and João Afonso Fialho, partner at Miranda Law Firm and President of the Portuguese Law Society Association (ASAP).

The second panel looked at information in the cloud, with moderation by João Ferreira and the participation of Nuno Brito Lopes from PBBR and the renowned Miguel Caldas, Chief Technology Officer at Microsoft.

The panel closed with the intervention of Ricardo Negrão, IT director at PLMJ.

In a crowded event, with a debate open to all participants, it was possible to debate the importance of information technologies in the development of the activity of lawyers in different realities and dimensions, emphasizing the care with information security.
